Budget Pet Products- tick collars for dogs

Flood impacted residents of Fitzroy Crossing & surrounding communities needing dog tick treatments

Fitzroy Crossing & the surrounding valley was hit hard by the January Floods of 2023. People were distraught to leave their pets behind when they were evacuated from their communities, and the animals left behind were infested with ticks and since the flood there has been large numbers of ticks on the majority of community and town dogs. Some of these dogs are used for bush hunting of traditional food, some as companions for residents with disabilities and residents with health issues. Many residents in the communities are suffering mental health issues as a result of the flood and watching their canine friends get sick is adding to their pain. The common tick in the Kimberley region is a carrier for the Ehrlichiosis disease. A number of pets have died from this disease. Residents are asking for assistance in obtaining the correct tick collars to help protect their pets and furry friends. Seresto tick collars are recommended by vets.
