Domestic & Family Violence

Give what's needed

Grocery voucher - $100

Woman with poor mental health suffering homelessness and unable to afford food and accommodation.

A woman who suffers from poor mental health and who has a history of escaping domestic violence is currently homeless, living in a tent. Both her mental and physical health are at risk because of her lack of secure housing and dire financial situation. Despite receiving Jobseeker, an additional stress is that she is not able to afford the necessities of life, like food and clothing. She is keen to find accommodation that will allow her to store her things safely and that will provide a secure home base. With safety and dignity restored, she wants to take the next step of looking for a job in the paid workforce.
