GIVIT is working in partnership with the Queensland and New South Wales Governments, local councils and recovery organisations to help people impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred get the essential goods and services they need.
The list below will show essential goods and services requested by recovery organisations on behalf of people impacted by damage and flooding caused by TC Alfred. To donate money, click here. As recovery progresses and new needs are identified by organisations helping people impacted by the cyclone, more requests to support those affected will appear in the list below.
100% of publicly donated funds for this appeal will be used to buy essential goods and services to help people affected.

Helping flood-affected communities to rebuild
The Nothern Rivers was one of the areas worst affected by flooding in February and March 2022. GIVIT is continuing to help those affected including connecting the community back to their local library, and furnishing temporary housing villages.
