Adults and children escaping family violence
We are an emergency relief agency and we help hundreds of people a week access the basics like food. We also supply material aid to those who otherwise can't afford it, this can include toiletries, blankets and clothes.
Since COVID we have seen a rise in women coming into our service and disclosing family violence. We have been the first place people come to after leaving a family violence situation. And they often don't have anything except the clothes they are wearing.
We would like to continue being able to offer basics like toiletries. So that these individuals and families can brush their teeth, their hair, put on some deodorant and feel refreshed. They deserve to not have to worry about these small things most people take for granted.
