Family of five escaping domestic violence have no food.
Nonverbal student was kept home from school because mum was embarrassed that she couldn't supply any food for him at school. When I took a church emergency food parcel I (the Chaplain) discovered they have recently escaped a domestic violence situation and mum is frightened the dad will grab her son if she lets him travel to school on the bus. Also discovered there are three other teenagers in the family.
