The Senior Admin Officer - Purchasing is an exciting new role at GIVIT, a fast-growing national not-for-profit connecting those who have with those who need.
We are looking for a master of accuracy and efficiency who gets excited when we talk about end to end purchasing management and daily prioritisation and processing of relief purchasing requests. You love building effective relationships with suppliers to encourage efficient supply and negotiation of local buying power. During times of disaster you step up and manage a team of purchasing officers so people in need get a bed or a fridge asap after a cyclone ravages their town. You are committed to using your natural talents to make the world a better place.
You must be highly motivated, driven to succeed, and thrive in a challenging environment where you can optimise your accuracy, efficiency, core procurement and processing skills. This position requires high attention to detail, a flexible and thorough approach to work, as well as the ability to lead and encourage a team in times of disaster to maintain GIVIT’s strong reputation. ‘
Based in Bowen Hills Brisbane, the role requires previous purchasing experience in a dynamic environment. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel is mandatory and knowledge of MYOB is highly desired.
