Women's Justice Network

Women's Justice Network is a grassroots community charity governed by women, including reformed ex-prisoners, dedicated to advancing the prospects and wellbeing of women and female youth affected by the criminal justice system. WIPAN addresses the many issues facing criminalised women and female youth both systemically, by advocating to improve the criminal justice systems and individually, by mentoring.
Many of our women and girls are survivors of institutional care, sexual abuse and domestic and family violence. Our women and girls face extreme economic hardship and disadvantage despite their efforts to turn their lives around.

Women's Legal Service QLD

WLS is a community legal service providing free legal and social work services to women in the areas of domestic violence and family law.

Women's Legal Service WA

WLSWA provides legal advice and assistance to women in WA. WLSWA provides legal assistance in the areas of family violence, family law and protection and care. We can provide women with information about Family Law, or an initial appointment which provides an opportunity to understand the relevant legal processes, her entitlements, and her options to take the next step in her matter. WLSWA also provides community legal education, works in law and policy reform, and has a financial counsellor as well as client support worker to provide a wrap around, holistic service to clients.

Women's Mentoring Foundation Ltd

The Women’s Mentoring Foundation’s (WMF) purpose is to improve service delivery for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) women and young people to help them heal from hurt, distress, grief and trauma experienced in their life. We support women primarily in rebuilding their self-leadership abilities through increasing confidence and focus – thus resulting in better mental, emotional, social and financial health, leading to transformation.

 To create & deliver educational programs aiming to equip positive mindset and to train individuals to relieve their suffering.
 To provide access to resources for women to improve their mental health and well-being through personal support programs.
 Lead CALD women in their journey to grow, regain control of their lives with increased confidence, focused and strengthen ability in their Self Leadership
 Lead other organisations and people that share our passion to help CALD women and build mental health awareness.

Womens Resource Centre

The Women's Resource Centre Bega NSW is a community service for the women of the Bega Valley. WRC is run on 'Women Power'. Enormous amounts of time and energy are given to our work both in the Centre and in the broader community. While some of this is paid work, a great deal comes free of charge and reflects the community commitment to WRC. In particular, unpaid management collective members and direct service volunteers contribute to the WRC on a weekly basis.
The centre is funded through the NSW Department of Communities and Justice - Targeted Earlier Intervention program.
​The WRC objectives are:
To provide resources, including information and referral, to enable women to make informed choices.

To offer advocacy, support and resources for women with specific issues and needs.
Provide a safe and friendly space to relax and network with other women. WRC is place where women can simply walk in knowing that they will be free to express their concerns or worries.

Worthy Australia

Worthy Australia is an officially registered charity with ACNC. Our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for the women and children of Perth, who have been disadvantaged by domestic violence.

Lack of financial independence is a key reason many women and children remain in domestic violence affected homes here in Perth. Many women fleeing domestic violence relationships must leave in brief, opportunistic moments, with nothing but the clothes on their back.

These women then find themselves in refuges or shelters with no money or means to provide for themselves or their children. How do you start again when you have nothing to your name? That's where Worthy Australia comes in. We turn empty houses into homes for women and children who are exiting domestic violence refuges or transitional housing.
By driving donations in Perth's local communities, we source every single item needed to rebuild their lives with love and self worth.

Yemaya Women's Support Service

We are a specialist family violence service providing medium to long-term counselling and support to women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic/family violence.

Yiramalay Studio School

Yiramalay Studio School is a partnership between the Bunuba People and Studio Schools of Australia, and is located on Bunuba country, approximately 80km North of Fitzroy Crossing.

Learning at Yiramalay Studio School happens from eyes open to eyes shut.
To this end, every member of staff at Yiramalay is considered a member of the teaching staff; everyone has a role to play in facilitating opportunities for learning.

Hands-on learning
The unique context of Yiramalay Studio School provides a wide range of opportunities for students to engage with learning beyond the traditional classroom walls on site and with local community groups and businesses.

Two-way learning
Each Studio School has a partner school, creating opportunities for partner school students to spend time on country learning from their Indigenous friends, and Indigenous students experiencing time living and learning in Melbourne.

YMCA Cannon Hill Community Centre

We are a Community and Neighbourhood Centre and provide services and supports for all ages and abilities. Our Centre is a safe place where everyone is welcome. Our community services and supports include:
Emergency relief and crisis support - food parcels, clothing, toiletries, blanket, financial assistance with payment of bills, petrol vouchers, prescription medication.
Information and Referral - we link people into other services within the community such as housing, domestic violence and counselling.
Community events and social groups - we hold community events and run social groups to help reduce social isolation and promote connections within the community.
Programs - we run free programs such as a JP service, computer lessons and cooking classes.
We help to create thriving communities and advocate for social justice and human rights for vulnerable members of the community.

YMCA Ipswich Senior Campus / Community Centre

Y Schools Queensland provides adjusted educational programs for secondary students who would benefit from an alternative learning environment and a high degree of wrap around well-being support.

Y Schools Queensland focuses on taking the time to provide individualised support for students. Although each campus is based on the same core values, philosophies and frameworks, each individual community requires its own contextualised approach to effectively cater for the unique needs of local environments, cultures, demographics, and employment demands.

YMCA NT Youth and Community Services

Provides case management to youth at risk. One on one support catered to young people’s needs. Outreach to surrounding indigenous communities as well as our greater urban community.
Our main program is an alternative education programs aimed at providing support and guidance for teenagers who have disengaged with school to find them a path for their future that suits them.
We also run various after hours programs and holiday programs so the youth in our community have a safe space to hang out.

YMCA Vocational School - Acacia Ridge

We are a special assistance school senior high school (Years 10-12) for students who have disengaged or at risk of disengaging from school.
Students are referred to us by mainstream schools due to truancy, behaviour, mental health and learning disorders such as ASD and ADHD. Youth service organisations such as Child Safety, Out of Home Care Providers and other youth services also refer young people to us who have disengaged from school. We are a multi-cultural school with numerous Indigenous, Islander, African and Islamic students.
Approx 90% of our young people come from a trauma background often due to DV. 80% of our students have resulting social and emotional disorders, with an additional 20% presenting with cognitive learning issues such ADHD, ASD or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Our goal is to provide our young people with the opportunities they required to be the best versions of themselves so they can gain employment.

Yokai (WA Stolen Generations Aboriginal Corporation) supports the social and emotional wellbeing of WA individuals and families adversely affected by policies and practices of separating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island children from their families, communities, Country and Culture.
"Yokai" is a Noongar call to action - enough is enough!
It is an innovative approach to healing that is based on Aboriginal culture and collective ways of working. Thousands of years of history behind us;
Yokai is all about History - our long historical connections to this Country, the suffering we have experienced after colonisation and the history we are writing as we confront that past and heal our people.
