The best way to help people impacted by bushfires
GIVIT captures exactly what's needed by people and communities impacted by bushfires, so you can make a real difference quickly and easily. Bushfires have impacted communities across Queensland, including Tara in the Western Downs region, where more than 53 homes have been destroyed.
Please do not send or take unrequested donations into impacted areas. Unrequested donations hinder recovery efforts. GIVIT captures all donation offers online so your donation does no harm and meets real needs.

The list changes as requests are filled, and new needs are identified by support organisations working in bushfire recovery. 100% of publicly donated funds received by GIVIT for this appeal will be used to purchase essential items and services to help people recover from bushfires in Queensland.
Frequently asked questions
Throughout September, October and November 2023, bushfires have affected parts of Southern Queensland including Tara, Millmerran and Warwick, areas in Central Queensland including Goodwood and Deepwater, and localities in Far North Queensland.
Personal hardship assistance has been activated for the following local government areas by the Commongwealth and Queensland Governments.
