Our impact

Since our inception in 2009, GIVIT is proud to have facilitated the donation of almost 9 million goods and services to people experiencing hardship, working with thousands of community partner organisations around Australia. This includes communities who have been devastated by a natural disaster, families who have escaped domestic and family violence or individuals experiencing homelessness or living with a mental illness or a disability. Every donation has a big impact on someone doing it tough.

How GIVIT works

Help starts here

Connecting donations to real need

2. Charity Partner

The charity checks the GIVIT online warehouse for available donations that will assist their person in need. If there are no matches, the charity registers the request on GIVIT.org.au.

Made possible by generous donors

3. Donor

Generous GIVIT donors, including corporate supporters, browse the What’s Needed list and donate items or services that are needed right now. This could be a physical item, time and skills or funds to purchase goods. Our charity partner then delivers the requested goods to the person in need.

Wow, this is so kind and generous! I’m lost for words. Could you please pass on the biggest thank you to your selfless and thoughtful donors. This act of kindness is going to make this young person’s whole year!

GIVIT have been amazing. Don’t know how my clients would have coped without your program’s support and the vouchers provided.
