Garnduwa is a non-for-profit organisation delivering self sustainable sports and recreation for young people in remote communities across the Kimberley.

Gateway Care Ltd
Gateway Care is a low cost groceries outlet. We have an estimated 4000 families on our database and provide groceries to around 800 families each week. We work with other agencies such as Domestic Violence Groups (to whom we provide 160 meals a fortnight), St Vinnies, Salvation Army, Church groups etc. (to whom we provide Food Parcels). We also work with Foodbank and distribute school packs, (breakfast programs) FareShare (Free meals program) and Woolies and Coles (Food Rescue programs). Second Bite (Coles) provide us with pallets of Fruit and Vegies each week which are passed on to our members. Our members are prequalified and require a Centrelink or Healthcare Card to register or are people that fall outside of the welfare system but need assistance. Gateway has both a Food Centre and Café. The Café is open to everyone but only qualified members are able to shop. The Café provides a community hub where people can meet and make new friends and share their stories.

Geraldton Flexible Learning Centre
Geraldton Flexible Learning Centre (GFLC) is an alternative education provider (CARE School) for high school aged students who have needs that cannot be met by traditional education models. The young people that attend GFLC come from backgrounds that often include complex trauma, family and domestic violence, drug and alcohol misuse and poverty and as such have often missed out on many of their formative years of schooling. Gethsemane is a not-for-profit charity whose mission and purpose is to provide relief to hundreds in our culturally diverse community, regardless of cast, creed, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age and gender, 365 days a year. Our charitable services have been widely recognised throughout the State of Victoria, receiving a Victorian Premier’s Volunteer Championship Award for Leadership in December 2019. The Gidgegannup Mens Shed ("GMS") is in its infancy, having formed in June 2020 after the local Bushfire Recovery Group recommended its formation to assist community well-being in the aftermath of the 11,000ha Wooroloo/Gidgegannup bushfire in Feb'20 which destroyed 86 houses.

'Good Omen Goodeze’ (GoG) is a local volunteer charity craft group providing knitted, crocheted and sewn lap rugs, quilts, beanies, bed socks, hospital gowns and many other comfort items to the Canberra Hospital and Health Services since May 2017. This includes patients of all ages and in all areas including ICU, crisis and end of life care. Blankets and other goods are also offered to grieving families in the case of their loved one’s passing and to families or individuals in need of warmth or comfort. All our ‘Goodeze’ are created using generous donations from our volunteers and the public. We have people of all ages and walks of life involved, from primary school and high school student programs, to community services, health practitioners, business people and retirees. We are a not for profit Noongar community resource centre. We provide information and assistance to the Noongar community on a range of matters from Centrelink queries
to referral to legal advice. Each person who comes to our service has problems or issues so different that we deal with the majority of them through advocating, negotiating and
mediating on their behalf with govenment and non government agencies. We also run a women's and men's group by providing a place for them to gather and undertake activities, for example arts and crafts, sewing, wood work and social support. We run the Benang Suicide Prevention Program which is a community education program. The purpose of
Benang is to bring awareness about suicide and also provide community members with knowledge and skills to recognise suicidal behaviours and administer help to a person in
emotional distress until professional help arrives.We provide emergency relief through our Empty Pantry project.

Goondir Health Services is a non-profit organization. Wewww provide Health as well as Programs, we are located in Dalby, Oakey St George and Chinchilla. We provide Programs to all these communities. I work with the Big Buddy Program which is Participants aged between 12 to 17 we do a lot of cooking programs and provide personal items for the children that are in need most of the time. Wandir Gundi is a playgroup which young mothers can go CDP is cultural group where they do paintings and make Aboriginal art works. I also work with the ER Program, which is emergency relief for families, we go to Brisbane once a week and pick up food from Second bite, Fairshare and Foodbank we offer the community food hampers once a week, the numbers have grown over the years. We also help parents getting their children to school supplying books, pencils, bags, and there uniforms any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got Your Back Sista empowers women to thrive after leaving domestic violence. We are focused on providing services within the Hunter, Central Coast and Taree Regions.
1. BEGIN AGAIN PROGRAM - helping women and children setup a safe home by providing furniture, white goods and household items, plus food and personal care items.
2. RISE UP AND THRIVE PROGRAM – consists of workshops and a support group that aims to help women gain the confidence, support and skills to achieve personal goals and/or to re-enter the workforce.
3. STAND TALL SISTA PROGRAM - a women's/teens 10-week Self-Defence course that aims to give women the techniques & skills they need to protect themselves and improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.
4. WOW PROGRAM – partnering with TAFE NSW this program provides a pathway to further study and/or employment by teaching basic computer and admin skills.

To receive donated items, services or vouchers through GIVIT, you must first connect with a relevant support organisation who can assess your needs and provide assistance. This organisation can then place a request(s) on GIVIT on your behalf.

Thousands of organisations across Australia are registered with GIVIT, working across a variety of causes, hardships and demographics. Our priority is to respect and maintain the privacy, safety, dignity and independence of people reaching out for help. By connecting with a relevant support organisastion, your needs can be assessed and verified, and you can receive tailored support, which may include the organisation requesting items or services on your behalf through GIVIT.
The support organisation that is assisting you can request a range of donated items and services through GIVIT on your behalf. This may include furniture, household items, whitegoods and appliances. You can also request baby items, toiletries, toys and educational supplies, kid’s or adult’s clothing, digital devices like mobile phones or laptops.
GIVIT may also be able to help you buy groceries, fuel or medication in the form of vouchers. You can check our ‘What’s needed’ list for an idea of what can be requested through GIVIT.
Your requests may be filled through a donor donating the money needed to purchase the item new, or through a donor donating the actual item or service.
Your support organisation can also request time and skills such as tradespeople, cleaners, health and social support, tutoring and transport assistance.

We recommend you speak with the support organisation that you’re working with. They may not be registered with GIVIT, or they may not have placed your request yet.
