They take a one-size-fits-all approach to anyone and everyone they work with, many don’t really understand our culture, and what culture means to us as our Birthrights.
We think it’s important for Noongar people and (Aboriginal people on Noongar Boodja) to have access to Noongar tenancy support workers, working in Noongar ways. That’s why we’ve started the Boola Moort Tenancy Support Program, which is all about Dignity, Respect and Choices. And we also make sure our voices are heard with all tenants.
