Our multidisciplinary teams provide services from emergency retrievals to telehealth consultations, patient transfers and clinics (GP, mental health, dental health, and child and maternal health). They also deliver health education, illness prevention and treatment. The communities we serve are disadvantaged by distance and socioeconomic factors which impact upon their access to general, specialist and emergency healthcare, and often the RFDS is the sole provider of health services within a community.
