To access donated items or services through GIVIT, please connect with a support organisation registered with GIVIT that can assess your needs and provide assistance. Phoenix House Youth Services has a successful 30+ years track-record of working with “at risk” young people (aged 13-24), in the Northern Sydney region. We provided alternative education and training pathways, with wraparound support of case management and counselling, to the most challenged young people, delivering life-changing outcomes.
Our primary target group is “at risk” young people who have been disengaged from education and not in employment. Many of these young people are affected by a number of factors including: family breakdown, drug and or alcohol abuse, mental health issues, domestic violence and homelessness.
Since the transformation of Phoenix House from a homelessness service to a service focusing on education and training four years ago, Phoenix House have achieved significant social impact, as measured through the success in it programs, awards, compliments and recognition.

We provide individualized allied health services - podiatry, dietetics, diabetes education and physiotherapy.
Regular drop-in clinics and opportunistic interventions are offered as a mode of care as supported by local organizations as we understand that appointment bookings can be a barrier to healthcare for some Aboriginal People.
Regular group education sessions are conducted to provide clients with the necessary knowledge, skills and support to assist in managing their health goals and/or current medical conditions.

The Salvation Army Brisbane Inner City Services include various services, including the Upfront Intervention Team, the Mobile Support Team, Brisbane City Women's Service and Veteran's Support Team.

Pivot Support Services Inc.
The Community Hub provides practical support (including emergency relief food support) to community members experiencing crisis, disadvantage, financial hardship or other challenges. A comprehensive assessment ensures that service users are offered appropriate supports, including referral to other relevant agencies to help with any unmet needs that Pivot may not provide services for. We support people to work towards an exit from disadvantage, or, for those people experiencing a crisis situation, to avoid becoming entrenched in disadvantage. We have expertise in providing supports for people who might be regarded as "at risk" or otherwise with complex disadvantage, such as people at risk or currently experiencing homelessness, aboriginal families, people with disability issues (especially mental ill health), people with complex needs requiring coordination of services, recently released prisoners, people with behavioural issues that may preclude them from using other services.

Play Matters Australia, previously known as Playgroup Qld provides relief and support to children, their families and carers experiencing disability, vulnerability or disadvantage in child's early formative years. The Port Douglas Community Service Network Inc incorporates the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre, the town's only Opportunity Shop and the town's only playgroup and new parents group. Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre Inc.
We are a community development and human services' hub located on the Tweed Coast NSW. We strive to link people and strengthen communities. We provide a range of direct services, programs, social enterprises and community events. Pregnancy Counselling Link
Provides free counselling (face to face, virtual and phone) to pregnant and parenting women with children up to the age of 5 years, living in the Brisbane region. We also provide free group programs on both the north and south sides of Brisbane. We have recently received funding to provide individual and group counselling for women living in the Logan region.

Prisoners Aid ACT
Prisoners Aid ACT is a secular, non-government organisation that has assisted prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families in the ACT since 1963. We have very simple aims: to increase fairness and to reduce crime. Prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families can suffer all kinds of disadvantage. Released prisoners, for example, often experience discrimination when seeking employment. The families of prisoners often experience as many difficulties as prisoners themselves. We aim to assist people overcome these disadvantages through outreach in our office in the Alexander Maconochie Centre Visitor Centre (AMC) and through direct service coordination and delivery in our office at the Magistrates Court.
PA operates at the two locations (AMC Visitors Centre and the Magistrates Court).

Prospect is a highly-respected nonprofit, community service organisation with 30 years’ experience in delivering a range of quality programs and support services, and low-cost housing and accommodation to local individuals, families, and the community-at-large.

Protea Place Women's Support Centre
Protea Place Women's Support Centre provides practical and professional support to women in need. We offer a centre based program 5 days per week that includes access to a hot lunch 3 days per week, wellness groups 2 days per week, showers, laundry, clothing, toiletries, food vouchers, case management, essential transport, mobile outreach, referrals and support 5 days per week. Our Welcome Home Project is designed to assist women by furnishing and decorating their homes once accommodation is secured.
All women over 18 are welcome at Protea Place. Protea Place is unable to cater for children in the space. Younger women will be assisted and referred to appropriate youth support services.
We provide support to many women experiencing homelessness, DFV, social isolation, mental health and substance abuse issues. We also provide social support to many older women who are housed but who are vulnerable and isolated.
All women are welcome at Protea Place.
Puddle Jumpers Incorporated
Puddle Jumpers is a children’s volunteer based charity. Puddle Jumpers’ mission is to work with kids who are disadvantaged and provide kids in need with access to amazing camp experiences and other activities where they are encouraged to engage in fun activities, enjoy being themselves, and overcome obstacles in their own lives.
Puddle Jumpers provides food assistance to children, families and individuals in need - approximately 1200 families per week accessing food, clothing, toiletries and other essential items.
QCWA Beechmountain
QCWA Beechmountain is a branch of the Queensland Country Women's Association. Our Branch has 52 members and encompasses the Beechmont and Lower Beechmont Communities. Our branch works tirelessly on community projects and in-kind support responding to needs within our communities.
Families in Crisis, domestic Violence, health and well being within our communities is one aspect of our branch activities.
We support other volunteer organisations such as the Beechmont and Lower Beechmont Rural Fire Brigades.

QHub
QHub is a pilot project, funded until September 2025, and will provide co-designed, place-based services to LGBTIQA+ young people and their families/carers across Ballarat, Geelong, and the Surf Coast.
The project will meet local needs and provide a range of affirming, accessible mental health and wellbeing support for local LGBTIQA+ communities. The main aims of the program are to have a local space to access wrap-around support, social connection, a sense of belonging, and positive peer and intergenerational role models, which will work to greatly increase the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ young people and their families/carers in the regions, as well as reduce rates of suicide and self-harm.
QHub is funded by the Victorian state government and the program is run via a consortium consisting of Drummond Street Services, CAFS Ballarat, and Wellways.

To receive donated items, services or vouchers through GIVIT, you must first connect with a relevant support organisation who can assess your needs and provide assistance. This organisation can then place a request(s) on GIVIT on your behalf.
To find relevant organisations in your area, use the search fields and filters above. Once you’ve input your filters, make sure you click ‘FIND AN ORGANISATION’ to find relevant organisations.
Thousands of organisations across Australia are registered with GIVIT, working across a variety of causes, hardships and demographics. Our priority is to respect and maintain the privacy, safety, dignity and independence of people reaching out for help. By connecting with a relevant support organisastion, your needs can be assessed and verified, and you can receive tailored support, which may include the organisation requesting items or services on your behalf through GIVIT.
The support organisation that is assisting you can request a range of donated items and services through GIVIT on your behalf. This may include furniture, household items, whitegoods and appliances. You can also request baby items, toiletries, toys and educational supplies, kid’s or adult’s clothing, digital devices like mobile phones or laptops.
GIVIT may also be able to help you buy groceries, fuel or medication in the form of vouchers. You can check our ‘What’s needed’ list for an idea of what can be requested through GIVIT.
Your requests may be filled through a donor donating the money needed to purchase the item new, or through a donor donating the actual item or service.
Your support organisation can also request time and skills such as tradespeople, cleaners, health and social support, tutoring and transport assistance.

Mental health, depression or anxiety
If you or someone else’s life is in danger, call Triple Zero 000.
You can access 24/7 crisis support by calling Lifeline on 13 11 14. You can also contact Lifeline via text or online chat.
You can talk to a counsellor 24/7 through Beyond Blue. You can also access brief counselling with Beyond Blue via online chat.
If you’re a young person aged 12-25, you can talk to a trained clinician, you can contact Headspace 7 days a week between 9am and 1pm by calling 1800 650 890 or via online chat.
First Nations Australians
If you’re a First Nations Australian and you are going through a tough time, you can call 13YARN (13 92 76) to talk with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander crisis supporter.
Children or young people experiencing hardship
Children and young people aged 5 – 25 can access support through Kids Helpline by calling 1800 55 1800 or through online chat 24/7.
People living with disability
The Disability Gateway is an Australian Government service to help people with disability, their family, friends and carers find the support they need. They can be contacted on 1800 643 787, Monday to Friday.
