ECHO Inc. Malanda

Established twenty years ago in Malanda, ECHO provides assistance to the communities of Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Yungaburra and Tarzali, with limited services also offered to Atherton, Herberton and Ravenshoe. Our services which are available to all members of the public include Transport, Community Support and Emergency Relief.

Echuca Regional Health

ERH is the primary health organization in the Shire of Campaspe. ERH has been contracted by the State Government of Victoria (Emergency Response Victoria) to provide direct support ot people affected by the 2022 floods in Northern Victoria.
ERH also support community members within our Family Services department and Enhanced Maternity Care Programs that have complex issues such as Family Violence, Homelessness and complex health conditions.

Edmund Rice Centre Mirrabooka

Each year the Centre interacts with around 3,000 people of all ages and backgrounds. It provides
programs in English, computer studies, life skills, driver education, specialist housing assistance,
settlement assistance, a women’s group and very popular youth sports and youth leadership
training programmes, as well as leisure and cultural programmes.

Emama Nguda Aboriginal Corporation

NFP NGO “The main objectives of ENAC is to manage its own affairs on its own land by supporting education, job training, employment, housing, individual, family and community wellbeing services, the development of Aboriginal economic projects and enterprises whilst encouraging the community to keep and renew its traditional culture.” Profits are reinvested into ENAC to grow existing enterprises, and to acquire and generate new enterprises. The number of long term jobs created, rather than the rate of return on investment alone, is the primary criteria in assessing business performance. Emama Nguda’s Mission is to advocate for the rights of our people and to advance the economic independence of Aboriginal people in the Derby region.

ENAC pursues business opportunities independently and in partnerships with other stakeholders and strategic allies, which increases long-term employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.

Emerald Neighbourhood Centre (ENC) is a not-for-profit organisation, providing programs such as Emergency Relief, Get Set for Work, Community Caseworker, Day to Day Living groups, Come to the Table, and more, whilst providing information, referral and advocacy. ENC is a place where people find opportunities to meet their community, family and personal needs and interests in a supportive setting.

We can help you access a range of diverse programs including a confidential interview with the Intake and Response team to assess your individual or family support needs.

Encircle - Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre

Encircle has been in operation since 1987 and is committed to developing programs and services that support the wellbeing of community members, encourage and enable community participation, and respond to identified community issues and needs. Encircle operates across 4 sites - Lawnton, Strathpine, Kedron and Redcliffe, and has 40 staff and 300 volunteers. Our programs and activities demonstrate a wide variety of integrated options for the people in our region:
• Community information and referral service – as a central point of entry for the community we can either assist directly or make a referral
• Legal service – free legal advice and minor assistance
• Counselling services - generalist, domestic violence and family therapy
• Family support – outreach assistance to build and maintain nurturing family environments for kids to grow and develop.
• Adult literacy – customised support to enhance literacy and numeracy skills to enable active participation in community

Escare has been supporting the Esperance community since 1982, transforming lives, pursuing equality, empowering people and being responsible. We offer support to individuals and families that face daily life struggles through a family and community service, youth service, financial counseling service and develop programs that are offered to support parenting.

Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation

Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (ETNTAC) was registered by the Federal Court of Australia as the Native Title Body Corporate for the Kepa Kurl Wudjari people on 6 September 2016. We are the first point of contact for government and other parties who want to conduct business with traditional owners in Esperance.
We are a registered charity with a membership of approximately 360 Wudjari Nyungar persons. The wider native title holding group, who we represent and work for, comprises several thousand traditional owners.

Whilst member-focused, we value inclusivity and offer our services to all locally based First Nations people. Indeed, our pro-social and localized approach, achieves tangible outcomes for the entire Esperance community.

Evans River K-12 School

Evans River K-12 School is a NSW government school for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

EveryMan Australia

EveryMan is a Community Organisation that accommodates clients under two programs - Indigenous Family Program and Men's Accommodation Support Service (MASS).
In total, EveryMan accommodates 98 clients in 75 properties. Indigenous Families Program - this accommodation is temporary as families are supported while transitioning to the own accommodation, and as they usually present in crisis/homelessness, don't have any household items/furniture of their own. When they find permanent accommodation, often take the furniture EveryMan has provided them.
MASS - Accommodation for single men in crisis due to Mental Health issues, usually coming from homelessness and requiring support with housing and managing a tenancy. Most do not have furniture and other household or personal belongings when entering accommodation.
Sometimes, due to the nature of their inability to independently sustain a home/tenancy, furniture may become damaged and requires replacing.

Everything Suarve Inc

Everything Suarve Inc. (Association) is Association is dedicated to breaking the perception and stigma that society sometimes places on Australia’s Indigenous, reformed prisoners and troubled youth and is an advocate for change in the lives of marginalised individuals.
The Association seeks to achieve this by providing educational and employment opportunities to:
(a) Australian Indigenous – being individuals who are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait
Islander decent including those that may be homeless or at risk of homelessness;
(b) reformed prisoners – being individuals who have previously been incarcerated and have recently been released from jail;
(c) troubled youth – being individuals between the ages of 15 and 25 from troubled and/or disadvantaged backgrounds including those that may be homeless or at risk of homlessness,
Within these communities, the Association aims to specifically target and assist those individuals who suffer.

Fair Game Australia

Fair Game Australia is a health charity with an innovative approach to reducing inequality for under-serviced Australians via the donation of recycled sports equipment. The DGR charity is an award winning grass-roots volunteer lead organisation making significant impact for thousands of Aboriginal and CALD Australians each year across remote and urban communities.

We have three core programs delivered by youthful volunteers in partnership with communities:

1. Recycle & Donate- “Breathing new life into your pre-loved sports equipment.”

2. Game On!- “Unique sport, fitness and wellness programs to get communities active.”

3. Healthy Communities- “Capacity building through health education.”

Families as First Teachers (FaFT) - Alekarenge

The Alekarenge families as first teachers program engages indigenous families to bring their 0-4 year old children into school and engage with early learning. We also offer cooking, a sleep area and many adult activities as well as parent capacity building sessions to continue to help parents and families be the best they can be for themselves and their children.

Families as First Teachers (FaFT) - Alpurrurulam

Alpurrurulam FaFT is a service which links parents and children living in remote communities with other services in community and around the state.
We also provide activities to help aid the growth and nurturing of young children.
We are a school-based organisation and currently operate on Alpurrurulam Community School grounds.
