Our staff delivers support services to communities based across the local government areas of Mildura Rural City Council, Swan Hill Rural City Council and Gannawarra Shire.

Mangkaja Arts Resource Agency Aboriginal Corporation

Mangkaja Arts (MARA) is a member-owned, aboriginal corporation, providing a studio, arts materials, artist outreach and professional development for artists in the Fitzroy Valley. Member artists gain income from their artwork sales whilst accessing a safe space for cultural expression, intergenerational learning and enduring cultural health.

Manna Inc

Manna provides hope and dignity to the disadvantaged and underprivileged community of WA through food services and advocacy programs. We run a food service 5 days a week at the Weld Square in the city and support 30 plus schools with the school breakfast program. As well we support several shelters and emergency relief services with food deliveries

Manningham Christian Centre - CareNet

CareNet is a program run through Manningham Christian Centre. We support families experiencing hardship with food hampers, vouchers (when available), material relief and information.

CareNet is the founding partner of The Food Collective Project, throughout Banyule & Nillumbik and is also an active member of the Manningham Emergency Relief Network. Working collaboratively in meaningful partnerships is a priority for us and something we have proved to excel at.

Marabisda Inc

MARABISDA Inc. (Mackay and Region Aboriginal and Islander Development Association) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community controlled organisation with services that support vulnerable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families at risk of entry or re-entry into the statutory child protection system and their families.
MARABISDA Inc. is part of a consortium with Girudala (Bowen) and Mudth Niyleta (Sarina) to deliver the ATSI Family Wellbeing Services Funding. Collaboratively the three service providers provide the Family Wellbeing Service to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families within the geographic catchment area covered by the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac Regional Councils.
MARABISDA Inc. have a sub-contract with Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Service (TAIHS) to operate the Recognised Entity within the boundaries of the Mackay Child Safety Service Centre (Department of Communities - Child Safety Services).

Margaret River Community Centre Inc

Margaret River Community Centre Inc. (MRCC) is an incorporated association that has been custodian of the Old Hospital Heritage Precinct, the place known as the Community Centre, since 1990.
Its chief concerns are with heritage, social justice, education and children’s services. Administration of the centre is self-supporting from rental and hire of office and communal spaces on an ongoing and casual basis to not for profit and other organisations and/or community members with like purpose. MRCC Inc operates as an agency for Emergency Relief Funds, provides distribution of Christmas hampers, enables the community childcare service and supports a volunteer run Soup Kitchen which has operated at the Community Centre since 1995. The not-for-profit Community Centre for Children (MRCCC) was established in 2004 and expanded in 2015; its surplus funds are utilised to maintain and improve the children’s service and also support the administration and maintenance of the heritage complex.

Margaret Tucker Hostel for Girls

Margaret Tucker Hostel was established in 1983 and was named after Aunty Margaret Tucker MBE who
was a respected leader in the Victorian Aboriginal community.
Margaret Tucker Hostel provides supported crisis accommodation to young Aboriginal women who are
homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The hostel supports young Aboriginal women who are aged from 15-18 years of age.
The hostel provides supported crisis accommodation for up to 6 weeks to young Aboriginal women and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The hostel provides a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal women and their children where they are supported to seek longer term and more secure housing options.
The hostel provides a living skills program for young women to undertake during their say to ensure that they are fully prepared for independent living.
The hostel provides support to access external services such as health care, access to education/employment and training opportunities.

Marnin Bowa Dumbara Aboriginal Corporation

The Derby based Family Healing Centre is a crisis accommodation service that offers support and advocacy to women and children who are escaping from family domestic violence. It is an essential support service for victims of family and domestic violence in the township of Derby and surrounding communities. The centre helps individuals and families to create a strong and sustainable future through active and integrated client support management. This includes coordination of services, community linkages, advocacy, referral, as well as practical assistance to access other vital support services.

Marninwarntikura Women's Resource Centre provides leadership to the Aboriginal Communities surrounding Fitzroy Crossing. Manrinwarntikura have a number of programs that provide service to vulnerable people.

Baya Gawiy Buga Yani Jandu Yani U incorporates early childhood learning, a child and parent centre, as well as affiliated partnerships for the betterment and wellbeing of our children and families of the Fitzroy Valley. Baya Gawiy Early Childhood Learning Unit (ECLU) provides Fitzroy Valley families a safe, trauma informed environment for their children. We provide culturally appropriate learning and care to children 6 months to 4 years.

Child and Parent Centre (CPC) works to improve access to health and education for Fitzroy Valley families targeting children aged 0 to 7 years and their families. It is a welcoming, safe and dynamic space that tailors programs to meet the changing diverse needs of vulnerable families. 2 additional outreach programs are managed from the CPC

Finding affordable, suitable accommodation in Canberra can be hard at the best of times, particularly if you are a young person. The Youth Housing Support Service (YHSS) provides outreach to young people aged 15-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the ACT. Clients can be teamed up with one of our Youth Housing Specialists who can help them to gain and/or sustain safe, appropriate and affordable accommodation and tenancies.
