The Moree SHAE Academy aims to develop and evolve the achievements of earlier programs to deliver appropriately tailored "customised" programs and services for the local Moree community.

The Academy provides an environment and learning space where personal growth, excellence and inclusiveness will flourish. Academy students are given a very broad spread of development opportunities with the objective of creating a healthier, stronger and sustainable future for the students.

Specific programs to build individual skills, capabilities and leadership qualities will be delivered through the following streams:

Mornington Community Support Centre

Mornington Community Support Centre provides information, referrals, and support services to assist people experiencing personal and financial difficulties in Mornington, Mt Martha, Mt Eliza, and Moorooduc in Victoria. We are committed to ensuring that no one should go hungry because they cannot afford to buy food and through various donors we provide fresh bread and food on a daily basis. We have a pantry stocked with nonperishable items and can provide supermarket and fuel vouchers when available. We have recently opened a community cafe, where our community members can enjoy barista style coffee, toasties, hot meals and desserts free of charge. We have 3 Case workers and a team of trained volunteers providing Emergency Relief and provide one on one interviews to determine clients needs be it food support, budgeting,counselling, No interest loans, advocacy,travel cards or general support. We also run an op shop to provide funding for these services.

Mount Kilcoy State School

A small rural P-6 state school that caters to a tight-knit community, often serving as a focal point for local education and social activities. The school follows the Australian Curriculum, offering small multiage classes from Prep through to the sixth grade. Teachers work diligently to provide quality education and social/emotional support for our students. The school provides support services to address the diverse needs of its students, which includes counselling, special education programs, learning support, funding when required to attend camps, buy uniforms and facilitates community connections. Our school has limited services and supports due to the rural location. Mount Kilcoy State School is located 10 kilometres north of the township of Kilcoy in Queensland, Australia. We recently had the addition of a health hub that supports some mental health but not school aged primary children at this stage.

Mudgin-Gal Aboriginal Corporation

Mudgin-Gal is an Aboriginal organisation based in inner-city Sydney. As a service run by Aboriginal women, for Aboriginal women, it is unique. Mudgin-Gal means ‘women’s place’. It offers safe haven and active support for women, girls and their young families through services.

Murra Mia Aboriginal Corporation

We help Aboriginal people in need of housing, we work to prevent homelessness in Aboriginal communities, we support Aboriginal people to maintain their tenancies, we represent Aboriginal tenants in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal when they have a landlord tenant depute, we are a charity, not for profit Aboriginal corporation, we maintain a gift fund in accordance with the requirements of the income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

The Murray Valley Aboriginal Cooperative is a not-for-profit organisation who provides a diverse range of programs from childcare, kindergarten, health, medical, well being, housing and aged care for the Aboriginal people in Robinvale. Murri Watch Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation

Murri Watch is a not-for-profit incorporation established in 1991 just prior to the handing down of the Recommendations arising from the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody. Murri Watch is determined to stop Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander deaths and self-harm in custody, and to deliver high quality services and support options for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Murri Watch delivers a range of programs across the state. These programs include Diversion from Custody, Cell Visitor Services, Community Patrol Services and Homelessness. Our Homelessness Service, Bowman Johnson Hostel is a 20-bed hostel which provides short term accommodation combined with case management services for homeless person or persons at risk of being homeless.

Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) is made up of members from five traditional custodial groups: the Ngarluma, Mardudhunera, Yaburara, Yindjibarndi, and Wong-Goo-Tt-Oo peoples. MAC’s mission is to preserve and protect our land, heritage and culture while transforming the lives of our community. MAC brings together the five groups to pave the way for future generations and work together for country, while respecting lore, heritage and traditions.

Neami National - Kirwan

The Individual Recovery Support Program provides non-clinical psychosocial services to support consumers to transition back into the community upon release from a correctional facility.

The program provides one-on-one ‘wraparound’ support for up to 12 months post-release, including:

Three months of high intensity support where consumers are supported to address their highest priority needs to facilitate integration back into community.
Nine months of lower intensity support which focuses on the achievement of the individual’s medium to longer term recovery goals.
