Chaplaincy Australia - QLD

We provide social, emotional, spiritual, and practical support to those at risk, in need, or in crisis. Our Chaplains serve across around 30 different sectors some of which include: Disasters, Sports, RSL clubs, Schools, ADF, Policing, Community, Universities, Councils, the arts and many more.

Charity Bounce

Charity Bounce is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth by providing basketball clubs and employment hubs that encourage resilience and personal development, and increase our participants' ability to succeed in life and transition to work.

Through our basketball clubs, we don’t just teach basketball skills we teach life lessons. We create a safe, supportive - and free - environment for young people to discover their true potential, develop essential life skills, and cultivate a sense of belonging and teamwork.

Our #1 goal is to inspire a successful mindset, on and off the court. We use the game of basketball to give them a better chance at the game of life, striving to break the cycle of underemployment, poverty, and limited opportunities available by giving at-risk youth the tools and connections to transform their lives and access jobs.

Charleville Neighbourhood Centre

We provide support and financial assistance to individuals in rural and remote areas who are experiencing personal, family, relationship and/or financial issues, including those resulting from a natural disaster.

Charnwood-Dunlop School

Together as a community of staff, students and families we will create a safe and empowering learning environment where wonder and curiosity are nurtured and every child is empowered to reach their full potential. We will value diversity and build respectful relationships through effective communication.

Charnwood-Dunlop is a Restorative Practices School. Restorative practices emphasises the value of restoring relationships. Students are accountable for their behaviour and work together to listen to each other's perspectives, build empathy, repair harm and find ways to move forward.

Chatsworth State School

Chatsworth State School is in the North Coast region, situated on the Northern outskirts of Gympie. Chatsworth is the base school for the Chatsworth Special education program, co-ordinating support for students with disabilities at six other local schools.

Chelsea Community Church of Christ

Our small church welcomes all in a lower socio economic community. We are fully immersed in the community providing weekly free 3 course hot breakfast to around 100 people; free food pantry to 34 people; free wash and dry laundry. We have no restrictions as everyone deserves food and acceptance. With Covid our resources are stretched as more people are struggling with little government support. We are now being called on nearly every day for support. We have started a small community garden with herbs, veggies and fruit trees so our guests can avail themselves of some extra healthy items. Our breakfast relies on an annual grant but our pantry just on donations where we can as there are no grants for food pantry.

At Cherbourg State School, the major educational focus is on the core subjects of English, Maths, Science and Indigenous Education. It is a strong belief of the staff, students, parents, caregivers and community members that these four core subjects are the foundations on which to develop and build upon a solid educational base for all students. It is imperative to maintain a strong focus on these areas to ensure that the “Educational gap” is not merely closed but totally eradicated for our current and future generations of students.

The Chermside Community Health Centre provides a range of services for people living in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

Chester Hill Neighbourhood Centre

We provide assistance to children, young people, families and the aged living in the Canterbury-Bankstown area. This assistance can include programs, activities, individual case management and social support. Our aim is alleviate stress and hardship on individuals and families living in our area and increasing their ability to participate in the community and manage their lives independently. Also we provide financial support in terms of assistance with paying bills, food hampers and food vouchers.

Child and Youth Protection Services

CYPS is the statutory child protection agency which services the ACT region. CYPS has legislative responsibility under the Children and Young People Act 2008 for facilitating and coordinating services across government for the care and protection of children and young people believed to be at risk of harm. This involves assessing risk and working with families and other professionals to resolve issues that compromise the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. CYPS provides a continuum of service delivery to children and young people considered ‘at risk’ of serious abuse and harm

Childers Neighbourhood Centre - Bundaberg Regional Council

The Childers Neighbourhood Centre is a community hub where members of our community can meet for friendship, information, support, action on a community issue, self development, community involvement, or to access visiting or resident services.
Our goal is to support communities in developing and promoting successful family and community relationships. Assist communities in discovering better links between the range of existing services. Provide quality, consistent support for community members within the district.

Childhood Cancer Association Inc

The Childhood Cancer Association (CCA), South Australia’s key childhood cancer support organisation, supports South Australian children (aged 0-18 years) who are diagnosed with cancer, and their families, as well as families from the Northern Territory and country Victoria and New South Wales, who are required to relocate to Adelaide to receive treatment for their child. We support children from the point of diagnosis, and beyond including into survivorship and bereavement. We provide over 30 different services free of charge, including family support pack, counselling, accommodation, sibling support, educational assistance, equipment loans and bereavement support to name just a few. Services are delivered by trained psychologists and are tailored to meet the needs of the whole family including parents, siblings and grandparents. We currently support over 400 families.

Children's Ground is a not for profit organisation addressing extreme disadvantage faced by aboriginal kids and families. We have a Community Centre in Jabiru which focuses on Early Years learning for the children, in both their culture and western society.

The Children’s Joy Foundation Int'l. Australia Ltd., strongly advocates the protection of children and dedicates its efforts to help the disadvantaged, neglected and poor children.

Chinchilla Community Centre

Chinchilla Community Centre is an incorporated not for profit charitable organisation delivering community services to Chinchilla and districts. The primary purpose of our organisation is to provide support to, and advocate for, the Chinchilla community, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. Chinchilla Community Centre is the Centrelink Agent in Chinchilla, delivering this service for 25 hours each week. Other funded services currently delivered by Chinchilla Community Centre include Community Connect, Youth Connect, Emergency Relief and Project Reset (a youth pilot program). All of these services provide information and referral, offer support to people to become connected to the most appropriate service to meet their needs, advocate for people, and assist in the completion of assorted forms and documents.

Christ Apostolic Church Praise Centre has a history of providing support to Asylum seekers, Refugees, Migrants to Australia, Our commitment is to provide information and referral services assistance to migrants, asylum seekers, refugees, victim of family domestic violence (FDV), Youth services, Women, Family, Victim of female genital mutilation (FGM), emergency relief services to the community, as well as the broader Australian community, based on their need.
