Gunida Gunyah provides secure affordable housing and support to tenants who need it most, as they get back on their feet.
We provide a range of programs and services designed to enhance the lives of our people, including those who are ageing, disabled, have been recently incarcerated or have suffered domestic abuse.

Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc

The Chamber is involved in representing the business community to local and state (and occasionally federal) governments, providing representation on a number of committees and on a variety of issues.

Gunya Meta Inc

Gunya Meta Inc is a non-profit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation, run by local Logan City community members. They have 100% Indigenous staff.
We facilitate many different programs and activities to help strengthen our community.
We work inside and outside the school gates for our Mob.
we run workshops and camps. We work closely with our Elders and our partners.

Guthrie House

Guthrie House Co-operative Incorporated is a not-for-profit transitional service for women, including women with babies in their full-time care. Guthrie House is the only service of its kind that supports women who have a history of alcohol and other drug abuse and current involvement in the criminal justice system. This can include release from a correctional centre on a community-based sentence such as a Parole Order, Probation Order, Drug Court Order or Intensive Correction Order.

Gympie Community Place is the local Gympie community centre or neighbourhood centre.

Everyone is welcome at Gympie Community Place....and our slogan is “Our Place – Your Space” Gympie Community Place has been providing support to the local community for over 25 years and we pride ourselves in providing the community with a wide range of supporting services, groups and activities. We run services and programs with a focus on supporting those most vulnerable in our community – those who might need a helping hand. We strongly support ‘community’ engagement and encourage everyone to get involved in our local community.

Gympie Flexible Learning Centre

Gympie Flexible Learning Centre provides a place for young people disenfranchised by mainstream education systems, to re-engage with a holistic and flexible learning experience.

Gympie Meals on Wheels

We provide meals to the elderly and infirm in the community. From January 2020 we will also be running a soup kitchen for the homeless in Gympie.

support to enable people in becoming more independent and happier within their home and community. We focus on ensuring quality homecare services to our participants by placing their needs at the forefront of what we do.

Habitat for Humanity Australia

Habitat for Humanity Australia has several programs to support low-income families and vulnerable groups access safe shelter. These programs include building homes or shelters, shelter renovation through our Brush With Kindness volunteer program, disaster risk reduction and response such as our Bushfire Recovery and Resilience program. All our programs engage volunteers to help our partner families. Habitat for Humanity Australia currently operates in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.

Habitat for Humanity build homes for low income families as well as assist with disaster relief and home maintenance project in the community.

Habitat for Humanity Victoria

HFH globally believes in building strength, resilience and community through shelter. In Australia we provide a pathway for people on low incomes and in housing stress into house ownership. We also assist those affected by natural disasters and the disadvantaged to remain in their own homes with minor repairs.

Hair Aid Inc.

Hair Aid Community Cuts (HACCs) are run around Australia all year long. This is a free service where volunteer Hair dressers work with organisations that are already supporting people in need in our communities. We work with organisations are supporting those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, migrant groups, long-term unemployed, or those just experiencing a tough time. Our volunteer hairdressers attend different locations every 4 to 6 weeks and give up 2 to 3 hours at their time to provide free haircuts for those need. We have 26 locations in Australia currently

Hambledon House Community Centre - Cairns Regional Council

The Hambledon House Community Centre, located in Edmonton in Cairns, provides activities, programs and supports for children and families. In partnership with local services and community groups, the centre delivers activities that promote social connectedness and are a universal access point for individuals and families to get help and support.

Hampton Park Primary School

Hampton Park Primary originally opened in 1955. The school is located in pleasant tree filled grounds with ovals, play areas and equipment for all age levels. There is an Early Childhood building that was built in 2010 giving rooms for the Kindergarten and two Pre Primary classes. Future plans are to build a nature based playground.

The school has a strong focus on explicit teaching, in particular the numeracy and literacy areas. Staff monitor student progress to ensure all children are achieving at their personal best.

There are various sporting facilities at the school including a large oval, two new fully enclosed basketball/ netball courts plus an enclosed undercover area. The school also boasts a well - equipped music room and plans are in place to convert the art room into a Science/Art room. The school offers Mandarin lessons for Years 1-6.

Hands and Feet Inc.

We work with local churches to empower then to distribute the food that we supply to people in their local communities that are struggling to put food on the table. We operate in 4 states in Australia; Sydney, WA, SA and Queensland.

Hands Off Foundation

Hands Off Foundation is a local charity servicing Eastern, South Eastern, Inner City Victoria, as well as the Mornington Peninsula. We provide support to survivors of sexual assault and family violence. We provide financial assistance for groceries, clothing, petrol, school supplies, social activities, self care activities, gym memberships, homewares etc - essentially anything that may assist them with healing. We accompany each request for financial assistance with a care package that contains mindfulness items, self care items, anxiety relievers, hygiene products etc - i.e. mindfulness colouring, writing journals, soft blankets, toiletries, sudoku books, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, fidget cubes/spinners, stress balls, wallets, drink bottles, face masks, toys, teddy bears - the list goes on! We are linked in with government organisations including Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA), Monash Health, Sacred Heart Mission and Salvation Army, and this is where we get all of our referrals

Hannah's House is a Western Australia based organisation with a mission to provide vital support for children with life-limiting and complex conditions, as well as their families, enabling them to live their best quality of life.

We focus on helping children and families live their best quality of life from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement and beyond.

Harding Miller Education Foundation

The Harding Miller Education Foundation is an Australian charity with DGR1, TCC status. We supply educational scholarships for Australian girls with high academic potential in public high schools across Australia who are experiencing disadvantage to help them build pathways to tertiary education, helping to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

Harlaxton Neighbourhood Centre Inc

Objects of HNC Inc':
(a) Facilitate a working relationship between all levels of Government other NGO's & the Community of Harlaxton & other areas of Toowoomba as needs arise.
(b) Develop programs that address Community needs and implement with support from the other Agencies.
(c) Provide Emergency Support in areas of Food Parcels & Fruit & Vegetable boxes & emergency Transport.
(d)Financial support in the form of shopping vouchers and other emergency relief and assistance as capacity allows.
(e) Develop, initiate, and support events that encourage community gatherings, information sessions & general community wellbeing.
(f) Develop and support youth diversionary tactics both in-house and with other agencies.
(g) Provide opportunities for & assist in training and employment opportunities for both the youth and elderly members of the community.
(h) To reduce Social Isolation & loneliness and enhance multicultural integration for seniors, the disabled & homeless

Harman Foundation Limited

For the last seven years, Harman Foundation has been assisting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Australians battling their unique struggle. We serve them by providing support services to victims of domestic violence and family hardships, running a Women and their children refuge , Food drives and essentials through our 24/7 Help Line 1800 116 675. We are striving to alleviate human suffering caused by death and trauma, incarceration, mental health, disability and poverty. We offer multifaith Chaplaincy services to the NSW prison and local hospitals.

Harmony Primary School

Within the Harmony Primary School community there a quite a few families who are marginalised, and who are socially and economically vulnerable. Many of these families have a single parent looking after 3 or 4 children. Two families have a parent in prison, and four families have recently experienced the death of one parent. Two families currently have a parent battling serious cancer which has drastically reduced their income.

Harris Park Community Centre strives to provide support and assistance to the local community by offering information, advocacy and appropriate referrals. Aiming to address the impact of isolation and disadvantage within peoples lives, our community centre is a place for all.
