Good Omen Goodeze

'Good Omen Goodeze’ (GoG) is a local volunteer charity craft group providing knitted, crocheted and sewn lap rugs, quilts, beanies, bed socks, hospital gowns and many other comfort items to the Canberra Hospital and Health Services since May 2017. This includes patients of all ages and in all areas including ICU, crisis and end of life care. Blankets and other goods are also offered to grieving families in the case of their loved one’s passing and to families or individuals in need of warmth or comfort. All our ‘Goodeze’ are created using generous donations from our volunteers and the public. We have people of all ages and walks of life involved, from primary school and high school student programs, to community services, health practitioners, business people and retirees. GOG is fully endorsed by the Canberra Hospital Foundation.

Goomburrup Aboriginal Corporation

We are a not for profit Noongar community resource centre. We provide information and assistance to the Noongar community on a range of matters from Centrelink queries
to referral to legal advice. Each person who comes to our service has problems or issues so different that we deal with the majority of them through advocating, negotiating and
mediating on their behalf with govenment and non government agencies. We also run a women's and men's group by providing a place for them to gather and undertake activities, for example arts and crafts, sewing, wood work and social support. We run the Benang Suicide Prevention Program which is a community education program. The purpose of
Benang is to bring awareness about suicide and also provide community members with knowledge and skills to recognise suicidal behaviours and administer help to a person in
emotional distress until professional help arrives.We provide emergency relief through our Empty Pantry project.

Goondir Health Services is a non-profit organization. Wewww provide Health as well as Programs, we are located in Dalby, Oakey St George and Chinchilla. We provide Programs to all these communities. I work with the Big Buddy Program which is Participants aged between 12 to 17 we do a lot of cooking programs and provide personal items for the children that are in need most of the time. Wandir Gundi is a playgroup which young mothers can go CDP is cultural group where they do paintings and make Aboriginal art works. I also work with the ER Program, which is emergency relief for families, we go to Brisbane once a week and pick up food from Second bite, Fairshare and Foodbank we offer the community food hampers once a week, the numbers have grown over the years. We also help parents getting their children to school supplying books, pencils, bags, and there uniforms any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got Your Back Sista empowers women to thrive after leaving domestic violence. We are focused on providing services within the Hunter, Central Coast and Taree Regions.

1. BEGIN AGAIN PROGRAM - helping women and children setup a safe home by providing furniture, white goods and household items, plus food and personal care items.

2. RISE UP AND THRIVE PROGRAM – consists of workshops and a support group that aims to help women gain the confidence, support and skills to achieve personal goals and/or to re-enter the workforce.

3. STAND TALL SISTA PROGRAM - a women's/teens 10-week Self-Defence course that aims to give women the techniques & skills they need to protect themselves and improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.

GraceLife

GraceLife is a charity/ not-for-profit community-based church in three locations, Malaga & Ellenbrook in Western Australia and most recently Livingston in Zambia. Each location operates as a community centre and is used seven days a week. From each of our WA locations, a government accredited alternative learning program is provided for at-risk teens with the aim to support them in achieving year ten graduation or higher. Guthrie House Co-operative Incorporated is a not-for-profit transitional service for women, including women with babies in their full-time care. Hair Aid Community Cuts (HACCs) are run around Australia all year long. This is a free service where volunteer Hair dressers work with organisations that are already supporting people in need in our communities. We work with organisations are supporting those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, migrant groups, long-term unemployed, or those just experiencing a tough time. Our volunteer hairdressers attend different locations every 4 to 6 weeks and give up 2 to 3 hours at their time to provide free haircuts for those need. We have 26 locations in Australia currently

Hambledon House Community Centre - Cairns Regional Council

The Hambledon House Community Centre, located in Edmonton in Cairns, provides activities, programs and supports for children and families. In partnership with local services and community groups, the centre delivers activities that promote social connectedness and are a universal access point for individuals and families to get help and support.

Hampton Park Primary School

Hampton Park Primary originally opened in 1955. The school is located in pleasant tree filled grounds with ovals, play areas and equipment for all age levels. There is an Early Childhood building that was built in 2010 giving rooms for the Kindergarten and two Pre Primary classes. Future plans are to build a nature based playground.

The school has a strong focus on explicit teaching, in particular the numeracy and literacy areas. Staff monitor student progress to ensure all children are achieving at their personal best.

There are various sporting facilities at the school including a large oval, two new fully enclosed basketball/ netball courts plus an enclosed undercover area. The school also boasts a well - equipped music room and plans are in place to convert the art room into a Science/Art room. The school offers Mandarin lessons for Years 1-6.

Hands and Feet Inc.

We work with local churches to empower then to distribute the food that we supply to people in their local communities that are struggling to put food on the table. We operate in 4 states in Australia; Sydney, WA, SA and Queensland.

Hands Off Foundation

Hands Off Foundation is a local charity servicing Eastern, South Eastern, Inner City Victoria, as well as the Mornington Peninsula. We provide support to survivors of sexual assault and family violence. We provide financial assistance for groceries, clothing, petrol, school supplies, social activities, self care activities, gym memberships, homewares etc - essentially anything that may assist them with healing. We accompany each request for financial assistance with a care package that contains mindfulness items, self care items, anxiety relievers, hygiene products etc - i.e. mindfulness colouring, writing journals, soft blankets, toiletries, sudoku books, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, fidget cubes/spinners, stress balls, wallets, drink bottles, face masks, toys, teddy bears - the list goes on! We are linked in with government organisations including Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA), Monash Health, Sacred Heart Mission and Salvation Army, and this is where we get all of our referrals

Hannah's House is a Western Australia based organisation with a mission to provide vital support for children with life-limiting and complex conditions, as well as their families, enabling them to live their best quality of life.

We focus on helping children and families live their best quality of life from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement and beyond.

Harding Miller Education Foundation

The Harding Miller Education Foundation is an Australian charity with DGR1, TCC status. We supply educational scholarships for Australian girls with high academic potential in public high schools across Australia who are experiencing disadvantage to help them build pathways to tertiary education, helping to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

Harlaxton Neighbourhood Centre Inc

Objects of HNC Inc':
(a) Facilitate a working relationship between all levels of Government other NGO's & the Community of Harlaxton & other areas of Toowoomba as needs arise.

Harman Foundation Limited

For the last seven years, Harman Foundation has been assisting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Australians battling their unique struggle. We serve them by providing support services to victims of domestic violence and family hardships, running a Women and their children refuge , Food drives and essentials through our 24/7 Help Line 1800 116 675. We are striving to alleviate human suffering caused by death and trauma, incarceration, mental health, disability and poverty. We offer multifaith Chaplaincy services to the NSW prison and local hospitals.

Harmony Primary School

Within the Harmony Primary School community there a quite a few families who are marginalised, and who are socially and economically vulnerable. Many of these families have a single parent looking after 3 or 4 children. Two families have a parent in prison, and four families have recently experienced the death of one parent. Two families currently have a parent battling serious cancer which has drastically reduced their income.

Hartley Lifecare

Hartley Lifecare is a local and specialised disability service that has provided high quality residential, recreational, respite, transport and community services for children and adults with physical and complex disabilities since 1962. Hartley Lifecare is focused on making a difference for people living with disability, their families and carers within the ACT and surrounding region.

We believe that while disability changes lives forever, it does not have to stop a person from participating in their community or diminish their quality of life. With special, intensive ongoing support, people with physical and complex disabilities lead fulfilling lives.

Harvest Rain Christian Care

We are a not-for-profit community organisation. Recently we have been a recovery centre for flood affected people in the Ipswich Qld community providing hot meals, lunch packs and food hampers to flooded areas. Items such as toiletries, second hand clothing, furniture and white goods which were so generously donated by many of our local supporters, were able to be distributed to those affected. Our regular services involve a food co-op providing low cost food hampers with free bread, fruit and veg when available. It is our intention to continue assisting as many disadvantaged people as possible.

Harvey Community Resource Centre

We provide community and development support opportunities, i.e. Noongar Language & Culture Program, Ready for Work Program, Multicultural Social Support Group, referrals to hardship services, referrals to service providers for financial counselling, room hire to community groups and professional services for the purpose of outreach, exam supervision for Edith Cowan University, Bunbury, volunteering and work experience opportunities, information sessions and workshops related to access and inclusion.
