It's Not Ok Projects

It's Not Ok Projects is an international organisation that fights for human rights and better communities. Our projects exist to restore, educate, equip, and provide hope to the oppressed, the trafficked, the vulnerable, the impoverished, and the at-risk. Current projects include the She Rescue Home (located in Cambodia), Community Care and The Ivory Project. Jewish Russian Community Soup Kitchen Ltd. (Souper)


Souper Charity offers free, nutritional meals to lonely individuals, those affected by illness and people in difficult financial situations.

In 2018, Souper Kitchen opened its doors in the heart of St Kilda to provide free, home-style meals to people in need in Melbourne including Holocaust survivors, residents of public housing, victims of family violence, isolated community members, people who recently underwent hospitalisation, people living with disabilities, new migrants and those in challenging financial situations.

During the emergency crisis situations including the recent bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic, Souper supported the community with regular deliveries of much-needed meals, pantry and grocery items as well as hygiene and household items.

Currently, over 1000 people receive regular support through our food security program, with new requests coming in weekly.

Judge Rainbow Memorial Fund Inc

Rainbow Lodge assists men exiting custody. As a transitional house, we take men direct from custody and our program involves a three month residential stay, where clients are required to participate in our AOD program, consisting of counselling, NA meetings and other mandatory groups. Once clients complete their three month stay the hope is that we have been able to obtain housing for them in the community, where we support them as outreach clients for the next two years. When clients transition from onsite into the community, we assist them with obtaining essential items (white goods, cutlery etc) and this can be challenging.
