Anglicare NT has a long history of providing support to people experiencing homelessness in Alice Springs. Transitional housing program provides short to medium term transitional accommodation to individuals and families who are experiencing crisis and homelessness. Holistic case management and tenancy skills development training is provided to tenants for a path way into the public housing or private rental.

Anglicare Southern Queensland - Children and Parenting Program

Children and Parenting Program for families with a child from ages 0 –12 who experience stress due to emotional, physical or economic change. Provide regular face-to-face appointments, at a time and place convenient for you, and work with you over a three to six month period to identify your goals, offer you support and advice on parenting and the daily hassles facing all parents, strengthen skills and develop relationships.

Anglicare Southern Queensland - Intensive Bail Initiative

Anglicare Southern Queensland offers youth justice support in South-East Queensland for young people, generally aged 10 to 17, who have been involved in the youth justice system. Within our program we have Our Intensive Family Partnership which includes regular and emergency counselling support, motivational assistance, as well as guidance and practical parenting advice and supports for
family members.

Anglicare homelessness service for women and Families. We work with single women over the age of 18 who are currently experiencing homelessness. The accommodation provided is short term emergency accommodation and we support the women to link into other services and support them in gaining longer term housing through dept. of housing or community housing programmes.
We also work with young women aged 16-25 who are pregnant or parenting. We again work with them around finding longer term housing options and moving on from homelessness.

Arlparra FLC supports very remote Indigenous families as first teachers of their children. Early childhood educators support families to provide enriched childcare and developmental games for children 0-5 in a culturally appropriate setting.

The Armidale Neighbourhood Centre is a not-for-profit, incorporated association which provides a range of services, programs & support to community members living in the Walcha, Uralla, Armidale & Guyra regions.

We strive to provide positive experiences & outcomes for all community members who engage with us including those who are socio-economically disadvantaged & those identifying with vulnerabilities due to various factors impacting their lives.
We promote resilience by providing support & development assistance & advocate on behalf of those with less ’voice’ in the community. We have a drop-in space with tea|coffee, computer | internet hub and provide information, referral, advocacy & meeting spaces for after-hours groups.

Programs include Emergency Relief, EAPA assistance & the Work Development Order program. Our accredited No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) provides access to finances community members may not otherwise be eligible for through mainstream banks

ARROS works with young people with an intellectual or cognitive disability who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The team’s outreach activities aim to help young people access safe, affordable and integrated accommodation; rebuild and strengthen existing relationships as well as develop new ones; and participate in communities, and develop the capacity of those communities to support them.

Art from the Margins (AFTM), a creative initiative of Wesley Mission Queensland aims to empower artists living with mental health issues, physical or intellectual disabilities or those experiencing homelessness
and social isolation by giving a pathway to enrichment, personal growth and professional development through creative practice.
We hold workshops and have artists exhibit and sell their work through the gallery space.
