Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Co-Operation

Ngwala Willumbong provide support to the Indigenous community of Victoria and those willing to travel from interstate. We have 3 AOD residential rehabilitation centres, 1 Indigenous womens and 2 male residential rehabilitation centres. We rely heavily on donated goods to be able to provide support and materials to uplift and give the community the best chance at sobreity. We also offer homelessness support, AOD outreach, Public Intoxication response, Youth as well as many other services.

We are a not-for-profit registered charity that helps people in crisis by providing food hampers, household furniture, clothing, baby items and any other practical item to help someone in need.
With 2 police officers on our team, our focus is victims of domestic violence, pensioners, unemployed, homeless, and single parent families and just anyone doing it tough.
At this time we provide our services to 79 other government and not-for-profit organisations and groups.

Noongar Mia Mia - Boola Moort Tenancy Support Program

Noongar Mia Mia is Perth's only Aboriginal-led Community Housing provider, housing exclusively Aboriginal tenants in Perth metro, the Wheatbelt and Esperance.

Tenancy support isn’t a new idea, but cultural tenancy support is different. A lot of mainstream Community housing providers do tenancy support, but they’re not made by us or for us. They take a one-size-fits-all approach to anyone and everyone they work with, many don’t really understand our culture, and what culture means to us as our Birthrights.

We think it’s important for Noongar people and (Aboriginal people on Noongar Boodja) to have access to Noongar tenancy support workers, working in Noongar ways. That’s why we’ve started the Boola Moort Tenancy Support Program, which is all about Dignity, Respect and Choices. And we also make sure our voices are heard with all tenants.

North Melbourne Community Centre (NMCC) is a community hub owned by City of Melbourne Council and managed by YMCA Victoria. We share the facility with City of Melbourne Family Services who offer maternal health services, and social services, as well as Drummond Street Youth Services and Brotherhood of Saint Laurence HIPPY.

We offer rooms for hire to local organisations, community groups and health and employment services; including homework clubs and tutoring services, social meetings for community groups, food kitchens, free sports programs, and much more. In total we have more than 30 organisations and services who use our spaces on a permanent and ongoing basis to support our local community.

Located beside the Sutton Street public housing towers, we have become a true community hub to support one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse areas in the City of Melbourne.

North West Mental Health - NAMHS Hotham St Community Team

Hotham Street Community Team provides mental health care to over 600 consumers with severe and chronic mental illness. The service also provides care for those who may be experiencing an acute phase of their illness, or a crisis.
Care is provided from a multidisciplinary perspective, in a consumer oriented, recovery focused manner.

North West Mental Health NPARCS

We are a voluntary residential service for mental health recovery. NPARCS is run jointly by Northern Area mental health and our recovery partner, WellWays. Our participants might want a transition back home after hospital, or come from home wanting additional support for a period of time. We work together on people's recovery goals.

North West Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service

North West Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (NWSWDVCAS) provide women & their children experiencing domestic & family violence with case coordination, safety assessments, safety planning, information, referrals & court advocacy.
We provide intense case management support to our most at risk & vulnerable clients & assist with their legal, social and welfare needs. We have focus workers to help Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women & women from multicultural backgrounds.
At Blacktown & Mt Druitt Local Courts we help women obtain legal protection through ADVO's, tailored to meet their needs. We also provide women with information & referrals to services, including but not limited to, legal services, accommodation, counselling, financial assistance & health Services.
We assist in conjunction with the NSW Police force to prepare women for Court Hearings with monthly DV Clinics & information necessary to prepare them for giving evidence at Court.

North West Youth Accommodation Service

NWYAS is a Specialist Homelessness Service which provides supported accommodation, case management and mobile support to young people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness.

Case Workers support young people and young families aged between 16 and 25 years old with developing the living skills and tenancy education required to manage indepednet housing in the greater community. Case Workers support young people to link in with services to address their identified concerns, which could include accessing services for mental health support, healthly relationships and counselling, parenting skills and emplyment and training.

Northampton District High School

Northampton District High School is located in the rural setting of Northampton, 54km north of Geraldton. Providing high quality education for the local community, it caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 10. Northern Area Community & Youth Services Inc

NACYS provides counselling/psychotherapy, case management, support, and advocacy for at risk and vulnerable members of the Northern and Outer Northern Adelaide communities, across the lifespan. Clients to the service typically have complex mental health issues, trauma backgrounds, child protection issues and alcohol and other drug concerns. Supports such as psychotherapy are not time limited and offered free to clients. NACYS has a 55 place long day childcare centre targeting the most at risk and vulnerable children.

We are a crisis accommodation women's shelter for adult women who are at risk or experiencing homelessness.

Northern Community CareWorks

Provide services to the community in the following ways:
(i) providing free employment training and work experience programs and support services;
(ii) delivering a range of social, health and wellbeing activities and events;
(iii) hosting community meals and activities to facilitate community engagement, connection and social welfare; and
(iv) providing pastoral care to people experiencing helplessness
We also operate an Op Shop with clothing and furniture for the people of Darebin City. We are located in the buildling owed and operated by Northern Community Church of Christ but operate as a separate registered organisation.

Northern Compassion (Tenacious House)

Tenacious House is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2014. This is a voluntary residential recovery centre with a program designed to empower men to take control of their lives and overcome issues such as addiction anxiety and depression.

The program is design equip men with the tools to succeed in life and support them on a pathway into employment or education.

The Tenacious House program is an evidence-based, community-focused program (meaning we do what works

The program runs for an initial 5 months, after which the length of stay is determined by need.

We are a branch of Melbourne Health, and operate as a mental health service operating out of various sites providing care to individuals affected by mental illness.

Services are delivered through six programs spanning 32 sites across the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne.

Northern Rivers Children's Services

Not for profit organisation - provision of Family Day Care, Early Childhood Services, Outside Of School Hours care, In home Care, and Ready Set Go. Ready Set Go is a Commonwealth Funded Communities for Children project and is a child development and parent support program for children 0 - 6 years for families in Lismore and Goonellabah Priority groups for funding include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, families with long term financial hardship or disadvantage and families with complex family stressors. Ready Set Go supports families to access support services.

Northern Rivers Community Gateway (NRCG) is a not-for-profit, incorporated community organisation formed in 1976 and incorporated in 1977.

The Northern Rivers Community Gateway is governed by a Board of Directors. The board is made up of professionals working and residing across NSW.

Northern Rivers Community Gateway receives funding for its projects and programs from a variety of agencies, sponsors, donors and fund raising initiatives.
