Program provides support to young mothers and their children to break intergenerational cycles of disadvantage.

Program is an early intervention program that will support young mothers and their infants who are at risk of entering the child protection system due to domestic and family violence and homelessness. The aim of the program is to help young parents break intergenerational cycles of trauma and adversity by providing holistic support delivered by a multidisciplinary team in a residential house staffed 24/7. The program can support up to four young parents and their infants for up to a year. Young parents will be supported to work towards their goals around parenting, wellbeing and practical life skills. Once achieved the young parent will be supported to transition from the program into the community. We are seeking First Nations resources for babies and toddlers to create a culturally safe environment for young families who identify as First Nations Peoples and to facilitate learning about First Nations cultures for all young families.
