Our client i new citizen to Australia from Afghanistan. She is a single Mum with 4 children ranging from 5-14 years of age.
After establishing a connected life to her local community in Australia after fleeing Afghanistan, was visiting her sister and received a call from her neighbor telling her that her house was on fire. The fire was caused by an electrical fault in the wiring and after the fire, she was denied access to gather any personal belongings as the roof had partially collapsed and it was far too dangerous.
She lost absolutely everything after rebuilding her life here.
She has now access accommodation but is in desperate need for furniture, especially beds.
