Teaching essential cooking skills to improve young peoples food literacy and build confidence to make healthier choices.

I am seeking donations of kitchen equipment, PPE and resources to support youth cooking and nutrition programs in the Fitzroy Valley, aimed at addressing food insecurity and improving food literacy. The Kimberley region faces unique challenges, including geographic isolation, rising food costs, and limited access to affordable fresh produce, making these programs essential for the community. Through these programs, disengaged youth and school-aged children learn valuable cooking skills, helping them build confidence in preparing healthy meals and making informed food choices. These activities empower participants to take control of their nutrition and health, creating lasting impacts for them and their families. Donations of appropriate resources and PPE will ensure that children have the resources they need to engage safely and effectively during sessions, while also encouraging them to practice these skills at home. Your support will enable us to continue fostering positive change
