Elderly man needs support to remain independent

This man is the eldest Yaruwu man, and a traditional owner, of what is now known as Broome. He has lived a layered and life with many trails and tribulations, including growing up in segregation, but has maintained a sharp mind and sunny disposition into his late 80's.

This man is currently on the aged pension and has not been able to drive for many years. He has lost his wife, four children, and lives a very humble life caring for the family that he has around him.

One of his last avenues of independence is his bicycle and daily riding trips to the shops. He has done this for many years and it may be one of his secrets to ageing so well. However, his bike's have been stolen or damaged throughout the years and we would like to purchase a new bike for him, to maintain this healthy source of freedom. If we could source a bicycle, and any bicycle related equipment, it would surely be put to use and appreciated for a long time.
