Young mum determined to break the FDV and homelessness cycle for her vulnerable family
A young mum who is a victim of significant family and domestic violence (FDV) perpetrated against her by the infant's father is reaching out to the community to help her start over.
This mum has a chronic childhood history of FDV through no fault of her own and found herself in a relationship with a man that perpetrated violence against her, like her father did against her mother. Through support and extensive education around the cycle of FDV and counselling support, this mum has broken the cycle of abuse and is currently trying to start over.
This mum is kindly requesting material support from the community to assist her further in her healing journey, alongside the counselling and educational support she is receiving from other agencies.
Mum is also wanting to study and better herself for future employment opportunities, as well as to be a role model to her child.
