Last moments at home
A young boy of 12 years, has been flighting an aggressive cancer battle for the past 2 years.... today he flys home for his last moments at home with family.. in his room... with his pets. This is a deeply upsetting time for the family, having been separated for 18 months whilst seeking care in a major city hospital, some 5 hours drive away; the mother having lost her job due to caring responsibilities; and the other 2 siblings living remotely with extended family while the father works the farm and tries to uphold some independence and financial stability for the family.
This family unit has been broken apart and this Christmas is likely to be the hardest.
