During Cyclone Alfred a tree feel on the family's home, collapsing the roof which has lead to significant loss.
During Cyclone Alfred, the family experienced many loses as a tree fell - this tree crushed the family vehicle and collapsed in the roof of the house and crushed the shed. Mum and kids spent the evening bucketing water as the rain poured in heavily for 6 long hours, attempting to protect and save their belongings. But the water has a severely damaged many items, ruined clothing and fabric items with black mould and the fridge is no longer working. The family have been experiencing consistent power outages since and still are struggling to access mobile/phone reception. Due to the impact and loss of family vehicle kids have not been attending school, family have been unable to access services such as Centrelink or to purchase grocery items.
