Family suffering economic hardship with and through TC Alfred. Loss of power in flooding caused loss of several possessions
Family of five experienced severe flooding during the TC Alfred event and post cyclone power outage caused loss of essential requirements for several days. the household equipment were electrical damaged due to the loss of power. Emotional distress impacted the whole family with kids not being able to see friends or go outside to play. Due to environment concerns access was limited for social support. Parents prepared as best they could however the flood waters ruined their flooring and electrical goods
