Student impacted by natural disaster
Resident lives alone and was majorly impacted by a storm which caused extensive damage to her home, fencing and garden. She was not covered for any tree debris removal under her insurance policy.
Resident was trying to clear fallen debris after the impact of the storm and broke her chainsaw while trying to maintain trees and chop wood. Resident is unable to afford a new one as she is completing a masters so can only work part-time, and is already struggling to afford bills and living costs. Resident is dealing with a lot trying to manage her studies, work and repairs to her home, and trying to manage her garden without a chainsaw has been really challenging and time consuming.
