This single mother of 5 young children has escaped domestic violence and requires support to help her children.
This lady has to move around to be safe from her ex-husband. She has DVO order against him. She has 5 children. They live in a small house. She has no support system in place and hesitant to reach out to her community due to stigma. She has lots of adversity in her history as she had to go and live in different countries prior arriving on boat to Australia. She is unable to work as she has throat cancer and has ongoing treatment. She is trying to survive on the Family Tax Benefit. This lady needs assistance with 2 laptops. One child is in high school and another has entered Year 7. They both need to complete online school work.
This woman who speaks very little English works hard to keep her kids fed and clothed. The fridge breaking down is a tipping point, she cannot cope anymore. She is asking for support to purchase food and clothing for the children. 3 of her children are sleeping on the floor. Any support we can offer would be most appreciated.
