Asylum seeker looking for a new start
My client has experienced a lot of trauma in her life. After fleeing a violent home she now faces many barriers to her recovery from all the trauma she experienced. She is now seeking asylum in Australia as her home country is unsafe and with that come a whole set of new challenges. She has been experiencing homelessness and has some support for now, however if she is unable to find work she will again face homelessness. As an asylum seeker she is ineligible for Government supports and can only access limited support from charities. Despite all this adversity my client is extremely motivated to gain financial independence and build on skills to become more employable.
