The request is for rain jackets that can be worn by the support workers during winter at the local outreach sessions.

Housing First in Geraldton is dedicated to providing stable, long-term housing solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness. Our approach prioritises immediate access to safe housing, followed by ongoing support services to help people maintain their tenancy and recover.

This request is not for the people we support as we do have allocated funding for assistance when working with people sleeping rough. The request is for rain jackets that can be worn by the support workers coming into the winter months during their outreach shifts. A few years ago our service were the lucky recipients of some funding to purchase 5 jackets for staff and a volunteer. Our team has grown and we now are looking to purchase 3 more jackets from the same printing shop in Geraldton as they have our logo saved already. The additional jackets are for our new team members.
