Young female asylum seekers seeking support with basic needs.

In a quiet neighbourhood, two young women who are seeking asylum are living in a home mostly unfurnished apart from basic cooking equipment. Each have sought refuge in our region to obtain work suitable for their skillset however are struggling to find consistent employment. The women have been relying on friends and charity to provide them with living expenses
Despite their resilience and determination, the women have struggled to afford even the most basic furniture. The extreme heat over Summer has seen them without cooling due to the expense of running the air conditioner, trying to save their money to cover rent and food.
The women are confident opportunities will present to increase the shifts however at present they are really struggling with day-to-day comfort and basic essentials.
