homeless woman with chronic physical health needs just secured a home
A woman who was working in disability sector but due to a workplace injury, can no longer work, found herself in chronic pain for the past 18 months. Due to loss of income, she lost her housing, and with that her mental health worsened. Her surgeon wouldn't operate, until she had stable housing, so she has lived with chronic pain over the past year while she has been couch surfing, waiting for secure and stable housing.
She has just moved into her new home, but needs some basic items. She has been through more than most and has shown great resilience during her tough ordeal.
