Single father with two young children evacuated during fire events and upon return lost food and children's play equipment.
Father with two young boys and their pets were forced to evacuate during the fire events. They were rejected from the evacuation entre as it could not accommodate their pets, and they had to go to Melbourne. They returned five days later, and all their food was spoiled in the fridges. The heat from the fires also melted the children's play equipment in the backyard. They have no insurance as tenants and missed government grants as they have a lot going on. The father is in limited income as is a casual worker.
