Young family needing a helping hand for return to school
A young mother of an 8-year-old boy and a foster Mum to a two-year-old with disabilities. This young family are doing it tough in this economic climate. With high rent and cost of living, being able to provide for those extra needs of clothing, uniforms, shoes and stationery is a financial stretch. Her growing boy attends the local primary and the toddler attends day care and multiple therapy sessions throughout the week. As much as it has its rewards there are also challenges with cost of travel and food, there is hardly any funds left for educational toys and books to help the boys at home and at school. This young mum has been commended on how much the toddler has improved since being in her care. So, the more support that can be offered to help will only encourage her to keep up the good work. A treat for Mum to nurture herself would be great as her main focus every day is the children, and she puts them first over all her own needs. Any help with be greatly appreciated.
