Family with 5 young children have history of homelessness, recently moved into home but have no essential needs.
A family of two adults and four young children, with a baby due in December, has endured the hardship of homelessness for a long time. Their 5-year-old son has ADHD and can only spend two hours at school each day, adding to the family’s challenges. Recently, they were finally given a home in public housing. However, after paying rent, they are left with only $250 per fortnight to cover all their necessities. Due to their history of homelessness, they also lack access to basic household items. This small amount must stretch to provide for themselves and their children, making their situation incredibly challenging.
