Woman grieving the loss of her life partner needs support

This woman immigrated from Ukraine two decades ago. For a significant portion of that time, she and her partner experienced homelessness until they engaged with a homelessness program. Earlier this year, she unexpectedly lost her partner, which led her to isolate herself. Recently, she reconnected with her case manager and allowed them to visit her home. It is clear that she has struggled with basic living skills and has allowed her home to become quite messy as she copes with the loss of her partner. She has expressed considerable embarrassment about her situation. With the support of her case manager, she has agreed to accept assistance in cleaning her home and will need to replace her mattress and other basic household items.
