71 year old Sheep and Cattle Farmer in Hardship Needs Help ASAP
This Sheep and Cattle farmer are still recovering from the October 2022 floods. He and his wife live off the pension and have not had any income from the farm. He battles with depression and has ceased seeing his psychiatrist due to the cost of fuel. He also has just been diagnosed with arthritis. He says he feels guilty that he can't make the situation better for his wife. Recent events in 2024, have compounded his mental health issues. They have been hit with heavy rain that has damaged their home. The rain has flooded their crops which they hoped to harvest to feed their livestock, which they’ve had to move to higher ground. They have come close to loosing their farm, it's been a struggle to put food on the table.Any contributions will assist to get this farmer the mental health support needed, fuel to gather supplies and groceries.
