Single mother of two children escaped a DV relationship, started a TAFE Course to gain financial independence
Partner is a 48-year-old single mother of 2 children who has recently left a domestic violence relationship that lasted 16 years. During the relationship she was physically and financially abused. Partner has 2 children who are staying with her husband and she is seeking legal support to get care back with her children. Partner has started a TAAFE course and with support of volunteers is navigating this course while trying to learn to read/write English with the hopes of gaining employment to become financially stable so she regain care of her children. Partner is wanting to regain her financial independence.
