Aged pensioner impacted by both flooding in 2022 and TC Alfred requires support to replace items

Client receives an aged pension and his wife is of CALD background currently receives no income. Client and his wife's home was impacted by flooding in 2022 whilst they were overseas, tenants of the home sadly trashed the home leaving the home not only impacted by flooding but in disrepair. Client was uninsured for flood damage. Client has been repairing the home slowly, however client home still does not have functioning inside bathroom or full internal walls. Client has not been able to afford to replace damaged items. Client was recently referred due to being impacted further by TC Alfred. I have referred client for further support that may assist with rebuilding however client requires replacement of fridge, washing machine and mower.
