She escaped domestic violence in the UK where she lived for almost 7 years. The British Police helped get her and her son a flight back to Australia with only clothes on her back but she has no cash. This woman is currently staying with her son. This woman has recently been physically ill, stemming from her IBS which is exacerbated by poor health and a bad diet. This woman has lost a significant amount of weight and has been referred by her GP to a health specialist and mental health service of which she cannot afford. She finds it difficult to access healthy food options to improve her physical health, and aid in her mental and emotional recovery due to her lack of funding.
