Young disadvantaged parents seeking Christmas toy donation
A young aboriginal family who both were children in care, are experiencing homelessness due to the rental crisis and lack of public housing available. This has resulted transience with the children.
Despite not having a home, they have to pay wherever they stay, and this takes up a large percentage of their limited income which leaves very little left over.
This young couple and their children have experienced incredible disadvantage trying to move forward.
To ease the burden this Christmas and provide them with some hope, we are seeking some Christmas presents such as toys for the children and potentially something nice for mum and dad for the children to give to them.
A grocery voucher to purchase food to help make this Christmas special to be able to have a nice meal that they often are unable to budget for.
