UBUNTU Kitchen renovation

Our kitchen has been a home to our mamas, young people, women from domestic violence homes, and those from refugee backgrounds, serving as the heart of our Mamas and Youth Programs. From youth justice initiatives to creating a sense of belonging for all generations, we have built a safe space where people can meet, connect, and share experiences.
As we embark on the renovation of our kitchen, we aim to strengthen this space, ensuring it continues to serve as a place of nourishment, empowerment, and unity. UBUNTU Cuisine is the highlight, celebrating our culture and community through food.

Bunnings Voucher - $50

To continue our mission, we are looking to source essential items.

We are kindly asking for donations in the form of Bunnings vouchers, which will allow us to purchase the necessary materials directly. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on the kitchen’s ability to provide for our community.

Items needed:

1. Tiles - non-slip (black and white or grey preferred) - 50M²

2. Commercial stove with built in oven - 5 or 6 burner preferred

3. Exhaust canopy - 1600mm or less

4. Stainless steel double sink (X2) - 1800mm or longer

5. Work benches with storage - 600mm deep or more to cover length of 13 mitres

6. Door and frame - 1300 - 1500mm

7. Island bench - approximately 3M X 0.7

8. Yellow tan floor (chip board) - 50M²

9. Outdoor wood gladding - Length 10M X Height 2.5M
