Resilient family rebuilding after experiencing a house fire
Our organisation is currently supporting a family of 8 (6 children and 2 parents) who have experienced a house fire. Three of the children’s bedrooms was impacted by the blaze. We are supporting the family to replace belongings to help them rebuild after this stressful event.
The family are looking to replace bedding, mattresses, bedframes, and clothing Items for 3 of their sons aged 14, 10 and 4. One of the children most impacted by the blaze is a 14-year-old boy who devastatingly lost his bed, most of his personal items, clothes, school items and all of his rugby equipment. He is a proud Brisbane Broncos supporter and playing rugby is so important to him, so we are looking for support to replace his football boots and sporting goods so he can get back to what he loves and get him smiling again after experiencing a very emotional event. We would love to support the family with some new clothes, and items for their bedroom. Anything Broncos related would be a bonus!
