Client is a 14-year-old aboriginal female in trouble with the law. Her offending is fairly minimal, but it is consistent. It usually involves minor theft and entails stealing essential items. Despite bail conditions that limit her access to certain stores she continues to breach these conditions resulting in multiple arrests.
She subsequently is granted bail but continues to offend and to breach her bail conditions. Her family situation is significant as the youngest of four siblings in kinship care. Her biological parents have had little positive involvement in any of the children's lives and struggle with substance abuse and their own involvement with the criminal justice system.
The client is gentle in nature and simply wants what other children her age have.
