Single mother, three young children, waiting for home to be cleaned/repaired and lost all of their belongings.
A single mother of three young children, lived in emergency housing. The house was flooded in January 2024. The family is temporarily living in a motel with one young sibling living at a friend’s house. The accommodation does not offer facilities such as cooking, laundry, or a backyard for the children to play in. The floods affected their belongings and would benefit with items to help with refurnishing the house once it is in a liveable condition.
