This client has recently had to flee high risk domestic and family violence, displacing her and her child from their usual supports and resulting in location instability. This family has now excitingly received a new Departmental property and are seeking the communities support to help re-establish and furnish their new home. As a direct impact of DFV, this family is experiencing ongoing financial hardship which impacts their mental health and capacity to meet their basic needs. This family would benefit from any support offered from community, however they are particularly seeking funds to purchase white goods (fridge & washing machine), as well as two queen beds and a family lounge.
